Naturally Wild & Free Yoga

My deep connection with nature has been the driving force of the path I have created and what inspires me to continue on a new one. After working in the field of wildlife ecology for over 10 years studying everything from brown bears to primates around the world, I am focusing on designing creative approaches to help connect people more deeply to nature and themselves. Over the years I have found yoga to be a means of finding greater peace, awareness, and balance within this beautiful, crazy world. Recognizing the value of yoga as well as the energy we carry and share with others in our daily lives has been a valuable lesson that I wish to impart to the world. I hold a joint Master’s of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation Biology & Sustainable Development. I am also a certified Wilderness First Responder, Bear Safety Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor and Prenatal Yoga Instructor (RYT-200, CPYT), and Reiki Practitioner. Come join Rebecca Zulueta for a Gentle Flow Yoga* class where all of the profits will go towards Naturally Wild and Free's Kids on Safari Program. This program is designed to work with biologists and tourism operators around the world to educate and help their community experience nature in their own back yards.
Rebecca, owner of Naturally Wild and Free (NWF), believes that we should all have the opportunity to experience the natural world and find a deep connection to the wild. Not only for the benefit of our physical, mental, and spiritual health, but for the benefit of our natural resources as well.
NWF's Summer Yoga Series at Medicine Wheel Wellness will run from May thru August, every third Wednesday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm.
*Gentle Flow Yoga is a less strenuous hour long yoga practice compared to most regular yoga classes. It consists of basic asanas (postures), put together in a conscious, deliberate and secure flow to connect the movement with the breath. Gentle flow is ideal for anyone who enjoys a more gentle, slower paced yoga class with focus on breath and meditation.
