Josie Wittner

Dr. Dagmar “Josie” Wittner grew up in Austria and relocated to the Bay Area in 1997 for her undergrad and graduate school and moved to Jackson Hole Wyoming in 2010. Josie was always very interested in sports. At the young age of three she began figure skating in her home town, Steyr, Austria, and was part of the Austrian Junior Volleyball National team by the age of seventeen. In 1997 Dr. Josie had the opportunity to participate in the FIVB International Beach Volleyball World Champion in Los Angeles. 1998 she received a volleyball scholarship from Holy Names University, Oakland Hills, where she graduated with a BS in Biology. Being involved in highly competitive sports led to many injuries over time. Dr. Josie was frustrated with the effectiveness of the care she had received in the past and decided to learn more about the human body.

Her choice of studies was chiropractic, due the fact that chiropractic has a drug free approach to healing and is not only beneficial while injured, but is also helpful as a preventative measure and wellness care. Dr. Josie received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Life Chiropractic West, Hayward California.

Dr. Dagmar ‘Josie” Wittner uses an alternative approach in diagnosing, treating and preventing mechanical disorders of the muscular-skeletal and nervous systems. Her non-invasive techniques of Chiropractic Care, Active Release Soft Tissue Technique (ART) and Kinesio Taping (KT) assist the body to align with its natural healing process, promoting overall health. Dr. Wittner’s treatment technique is unique because she combines chiropractic care, ART, KT, biomechanical assessment, Graston technique, Cold Laser Therapy, strengthening exercises and nutritional advice, based upon the individual needs of each person.

Dr. Josie’s current patients range from the average person, to recreational athletes, to amateur and professional athletes. She has worked together with NCAA athletes, the NBA, professional triathletes, US volleyball, eco-challenge races, pro skiers etc.

Dr. Wittner has gained experience through working several Triathlon events such as Wild Flower, and was an official Active Release Provider at Ironman Triathlons, and the World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. Not only has Dr. Wittner treated Ironman athletes, but was also an Ironman participant in 2006.

In 2014 Dr. Josie received her national animal chiropractic board certification from AVCA. She specializes in canine and equine chiropractic adjustments.

Jennifer Hawks

As the founder of Peek Purity, I’d like to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about me. I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho where after graduating from high school I attended the Idaho State University and the Eastern Idaho Technical College where I received my Associates Degree in Applied Science.

After graduating at the top of my class in 1999, I became a Certified Medical Assistant. I have spent the last 15 years working in physician offices and hospitals caring for patients in multiple areas of medicine ranging from phlebotomy to chemotherapy. In 2005, I moved to Jackson, Wyoming where I began working for a Board Certified Internal Medicine and Board Certified Holistic Medicine Physician.

I was introduced to Iridology at a young age. My younger sister was diagnosed with Epilepsy when she was seven years old and doctors told my parents there was nothing that could be done other than to put her on powerful prescription medication for the rest of her life. Knowing that was not an option, my parents took my sister to an Iridologist. After analyzing my sister’s irises, the Iridologist was able to strengthen and heal some of the imbalances in her body through supplements and diet. To this day my sister has not had another seizure. Following that experience, I knew that I wanted to be able to help other people the way my sister’s Iridologist helped her. Achieving optimal wellness through nature has always been a passion of mine.

My ambition as your Iridologist will be to create an exceptional experience centered on your needs and wellness. With my compassionate nature, understanding, respect and confidence it is my genuine concern to help you create personalized wellness from within. Please allow me the opportunity to analyze your body’s strengths and weaknesses through the science of Iridology. Your eyes are the window to your soul and it is there that balance, healing, and wellness originates.
