Class Level Description

Level 1-2: These mild-moderate exertion level classes are designed and taught as a progression from injury rehab, for those who are new to fitness or for athletes who are looking for a lighter workout to focus on the essentials of form, stability and injury prevention.

Level 2-3: These moderate-high exertion level classes are designed for those who have developed a basic foundation in fitness and are looking for a dynamic workout to focus on progression toward fitness goals, athletic performance, and sports specific function.

Fitness Classes

TRX Suspension Training

TRX Essentials, level 1-2: This Monday and Friday morning TRX class will incorporate everything with the TRX system. Build full body strength, mobility, cardio and endurance in a conditioning format workout. Suspension training is excellent for assisting in challenging movements, and the difficulty is controlled by each individual.

TRX Yoga, level 1-2: This Wednesday morning TRX class will focus on using the breath with Yoga inspired movements while using classic suspension training techniques.

Strength Circuit

Level 2-3: Strength Circuit has been designed to provide a total body workout emphasizing mobility, core stability, strength, and cardiovascular health using functional bodyweight exercises, kettlebells, steel maces, TRX suspension straps and a variety of tools from your instructors. 
We keep you safe while making you strong and confident, preventing injury and moving your fitness to the next level.

Recovery Classes

Knee Strength & Conditioning

Level 1-2: Knee Rehab & Conditioning Class is ideal for those who are recovering from a knee injury or looking to prevent injury and enhance performance by improving form, function, balance, strength and stability. Learn basic techniques to strengthen, stabilize and mobilize your lower body to improve your knee health.

Shoulder & Spine Strength & Conditioning

Level 1-2: This Shoulder and Spine Rehab Class will emphasize rotator cuff and scapular stabilization exercises which can decrease symptoms associated with impingement, instability, biceps tendonitis, as well as postural imbalances. Our shoulder and spine rehab classes are ideal for those recovering from a shoulder, spine or other upper body injuries or for those looking to prevent injury and improve posture, function and stability.

Restorative YogaTouch

All Levels: Restorative Yoga-Touch Class incorporates holding longer passive poses supported by props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks to stretch, reduce physical and mental tension while restoring breath and clarity. Therapeutic-grade essential oils are diffused into the air and applied topically to ease stress and promote a healthy body.

Therapeutic Yoga

Level 1-2: This therapeutic yoga class emphasizes breath, postural foundation, flexibility, and stability through gentle yoga postures. Whether you are recovering from an injury or looking to prevent one, this class will assist with developing a pain-free practice.

Gentle Flow Yoga

All Levels: Gentle Flow Yoga class is a less strenuous hour long yoga practice compared to most regular yoga classes. It consists of basic asanas (postures), put together in a conscious, deliberate and secure flow to connect the movement with the breath. Gentle flow is ideal for anyone who enjoys a more gentle, slower paced yoga class with focus on breath and meditation.

BackBody Yoga

Level 1-2: For those with chronic low back pain, several studies suggest yoga as an effective treatment among other benefits such as improved mood, stress reduction, and lower healthcare costs. With low back pain as the most common cause of pain in the United States and back injury as the leading and most expensive cause of workers’ compensation claims (Boston Medical Center) it’s no wonder yoga has become a saving grace for some as a cost effective alternative to other treatment. Join us for this educational and movement based class to increase awareness and attention to your "Back Body".  Release stress, compression, and tension, improve mobility, stability, coordination, balance, and strength to decrease pain, prevent injury, and enhance sports performance for better function and a more fulfilling life.

Mat Pilates: Low Back Release

Level 1-2: Our Mat Pilates class is back rehab based with emphasis on stability, flexibility, and strength. Mat work is the fundamental component in your practice. With a focus on finding your neutral pelvis and spine while strengthening your core and surrounding stabilizing muscles. This class is ideal for those recovering from injury looking to progress into full function, and for those who want emphasis on form and function to prevent injury and to remain pain-free.

                          Jess McMillan, Pilates certified.


All Levels: This Durability Class witll help you with: Recovery + Mobility + Stability
Release myofascial tightness, lengthen muscles and improve balance and efficiency using foam roll and stretching techniques, yoga, guided imagery and neuromuscular drills to recover, mobilize and stabilize your body, mind and spirit. All levels welcome.
