Our Approach to Care

We approach your care in a particular order inspired by Nature acknowledging there are four bodies setting the foundation of who you are as a human being and how you exist in this world; Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically.

THE WEST: Spiritual Health

Healing with the Medicine Wheel begins with Spiritual Health offering a place to step in, where inspiration and support is provided. The directive is on the West where the sun sets every night, where darkness falls upon us, referring to pain, stress, or dis-ease. It is in this darkness that we can look up and see the light from the moon, stars, planets and distant galaxies, referring to the guidance and support of our Providers.  Experts in the fields of Yoga, Chinese Medicine, and Energy Medicine provide inspiration, support, and a safe space to step in to initiate your healing process and acknowledgement of your Energy Body. We draw from the Spirit of the Bear, the season is Fall, and our work is to offer you assist to avoid falling into the hibernation cave of pain and feeling alone. The Earth element in this direction is Water so our services to assist this process are to create flow and clear energy with modalities like Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, Reiki, and Intuitive Readings.

THE NORTH: Mental Health

The Mental Health aspect is centered around brain health to acknowledge the pattern and conditions that have you in your current mindset, behaviors, my have you stuck, and are creating stress. This aspect offers opportunity to gain perspective, set goals, relearn healthy thoughts, optimize your brain's health, and find your true North.  This direction is about gaining motivation and the endurance to continue to show up to create the change you wish to be. This is the "get to work" aspect represented by Winter, our harshest season-it will push you and draws from the wisdom of our Elders, Mentors, the stamina and strength of the Buffalo through modern medicinal services such as Sound Healing, Mental Health Counseling, Meditation, and Functional Medicine.

When you are inspired to bring in change, supported, and show up to do the work, you will have a shift, a rebirth in a sense. Bringing you into the Emotional Health aspect...

THE EAST: Emotional Health

Represented by Springtime and the rising sun from the East, everyday brings opportunity for new beginnings to emerge opening growth toward new healthy habits. This is the re-birthing direction bringing in a new You, and opportunity for a new vision, signified by the Eagle reminding us to spread our wings, and set new intentions. When you are inspired, show up to do the work, you will start to feel the benefits of your efforts and a sense of calm will emerge. Modalities to connect you deeper into these new healthy habits are offered through clean eating and nutrition, massage/bodywork, plant medicines, and deep emotional healing-you are ready to take flight!

THE SOUTH: Physical Health

The final aspect is Physical Health which is represented by Summer, Adolescence, Fire, and the Wolf, a pack animal leading within community through instinct and grace. This is when we truly come into change.  We work on our physical body gaining confidence and purpose with the ability to be in service to others, including our planet, which provides so much in this healing process. In this aspect our rehab therapists (Physical Therapy, Chiropractic Care), sports medicine specialists, and fitness trainers come into play to seal the deal on solidifying strength, power, speed, and feeling your best. Ultimately the final modality offering full balance of well-being, also serving as a place to step in, is Yoga, which means “to yoke”, to unify, and also relates as a practice in the Wheel of Life.
